First I want to say “Thank You” for what you have done for me, someone I know or maybe someone I saw you interact with. Being of value to others is something that I hold very deep in my belief system.
I believe that being of value is one of the most important things you can do in your daily life. Many of us doing it as second nature but don’t recognize the power it has and the effect it has on others.
For me, there are 3 parts of being of value. First is being Intentional, because without intent then it was by accident and that means you aren’t focused on what you are doing. Second is being Passionate because without passion people can tell you don’t really care about what it is you’re doing and it comes off as a means to an end. Third is to Be of Service, because regardless of whether you are Intentional and/or Passionate if you aren’t doing it to Serve others then it is all about you and most times fail to bring value.
I am not the first person to use coins in this way, from military use for the challenge of identity to people like Simon Sinek who most inspired me to do this these coins are meant to carry meaning beyond the direct and obvious. As Simon says on his site there is a need to extend recognition beyond the normal monetary system and kind words at the moment. I agree because money is spent and words fade under the weight of other words.
So I hope this coin inspires you to be Intentional, Passionate and to Be of Service in everything you do. And maybe just maybe pass the coin on to someone else that you want to inspire to do the same.
